Celebrating Achievements
Avenues students shine at the Moonshot48 Hackathon
Four of Avenues' secondary students represented us with creativity, heart, and determination at last weekend’s Moonshot 48 Hackathon.
Nature Gao (G7), Bill Zhang (G8), and Simon Liao (G10) each completed an incredible 48-hour sprint to build original digital products tackling real-world problems.
Simon Liao’s team even took third place, winning ¥2000 for their innovative solution designed to support visually impaired masseuses—a thoughtful, socially-driven idea that impressed the judges and audience alike.
A huge shoutout as well to Notting Xu (G8), who contributed behind the scenes as a volunteer, helping the event run smoothly.
Whether building or supporting, each student brought their best—and showcased the kind of innovation, teamwork, and purpose that defines Avenues.
Bravo to our secondary stars!
