Please help us to encourage students to take full advantage of this opportunity!
Please note that this is an event for students. However, if you happen to be on campus and see visitors in or around the fair, please offer a warm Avenues welcome! Further details will be shared with students in the coming days.

Avenues Community Connections | Adolescent sex education
8:30–10:00 a.m., Thursday, March 13
Venue: 1F MPR, A19
Presenter: Emily Wang
Adolescent sex education is not merely about imparting physiological knowledge of sex; it is about equipping children with the ability to have open, informed discussions about sex. Parents must integrate sexual education into everyday conversations, making the topic of sex a natural part of parent-child communication. Only in this way can children feel comfortable turning to their parents as a source of guidance when they encounter confusion about sexuality, rather than avoiding support and attempting to navigate these questions in isolation. Our upcoming sexual education seminar aims to help parents understand the fundamentals of adolescent sexual education and learn how to effectively initiate conversations about sex with their children. This topic is very important, we strongly encourage all SD parents to make time to attend.
About the Speaker: Emily Wang
