ELC Updates
Dear ELC families,
As we enter the final week of the school year, it’s natural to reflect on the growth and learning that have unfolded over the past months. Together, we’ve witnessed incredible milestones, celebrated accomplishments, and supported children’s growth.
This time of year also invites us to look ahead; to consider the next academic year, to plan for summer days that are both enriching and restorative, and to think about how we can nurture routines that support independence and confidence.
Amid all this planning and reflecting, let’s also pause and recenter around a guiding principle of early childhood learning: the power of play. At its heart, play is where discovery, connection, and growth come alive. It is through play that children experiment, imagine, and problem-solve. Play builds language and social skills, fosters creativity, and sparks the joy that makes learning meaningful and enduring.
As you look to the weeks ahead, we encourage you to prioritize moments of play as a family. Build the sandcastle together. Join the tea party. Fly a kite. Play catch in the park. These joyful experiences not only strengthen bonds but also create the conditions for curiosity and wonder, key elements of lifelong learning.
Remember that learning doesn’t pause for the summer; it simply takes on new forms. Every shared laugh, every question explored, and every imaginative adventure is a step in your child’s journey of growth. By embracing play, you create opportunities for your child to retain and extend all they’ve learned this year.
We look forward to playing together during this final week of the 2024-2025 academic year!
Warmly,
The ELC Leadership Team

2025-2026 Registration Checklist Reminder

School Bus Service for 2025–2026 | Registration now open
We are now collecting intentions for the 2025–2026 school year bus service. If your child is aged 3 or above and you plan to participate in the bus service, kindly submit the registration form by June 20.
Your response will help us refine our routes and better accommodate each family’s needs. We look forward to providing a safe and caring transportation experience for your child in the new school year.
Picture Day Photos Order
The yearbook photos taken on campus in March—including class and individual portrait photos—will be used in the production of this year’s school yearbook. A printed copy of the yearbook will be distributed to each student’s family at the end of the school year.
In addition, parents now have the option to purchase student photos directly from the photography team online. The photos taken at school are now available for viewing and purchase.
How to Purchase Online
If you're unable to access the photos, please contact your division’s Operations Manager for help.
Health Office Friendly Reminder
Recently, there has been a resurgence of COVID-19 cases in the wider community. To strengthen the health defenses of our campus, the Health Office kindly reminds you and your child to stay mindful of your health.

If your child is diagnosed with COVID-19, please ensure they rest and recover at home and inform the Health Office. To prevent cross-infection, students may only return to school after at least 3 days of illness with a negative nucleic acid or antigen test, or 7 days after onset of symptoms.

Severe Weather Response Guide
With the arrival of summer, the frequency of extreme weather increases. According to the government guidance documents, all schools in the city, regardless of region, will cancel school in the event that the municipal meteorological observatory in any area of the city issues the following meteorological disaster warning signals:
If the above warning is issued before students have arrived at school, students should not come to school and should stay in a safe place. If the warning is issued during the school day, we will ensure all students are safe (including students on the school bus) until the warning signal is lifted.
