Kindergarten Updates

Dear ELC Families,

After WAM SLAM in February, we are excited to announce that the second school-wide event of this semester Ruckus is coming next week! For our youngest learners, curiosity is the foundation of discovery. At Avenues, we believe that hands-on exploration, play, and creative problem-solving are essential for young children's growth. Rooted in our Avenues World Elements, children will be encouraged to experiment, ask questions, and explore the wonders of science, engineering, and technology in ways that are playful and developmentally appropriate. Through interactive activities, collaborative projects, and joyful tinkering, children build confidence, resilience, and critical thinking skills—all key to their early learning journey.

Ruckus is a celebration of creativity and innovation, designed to nurture their natural sense of wonder. The students are going to explore a variety of age-appropriate experiences that encourage curiosity, problem-solving, and positive engagement with technology. We invite you to join us in supporting their first steps into a world of discovery!

Warmly,

The ELC Leadership Team

We need your help! As part of our upcoming Ruckus event in the Early Learning Center, we’re collecting old technology for tinkering and creative reuse. Think old cell phones, TV remotes, or even that bin of mysterious charging wires you no longer need!

If you have any of these items at home, please consider donating them. Simply place your contributions in the labeled box at the gate on any day next week.

Thank you for helping us inspire curiosity and innovation among our learners!
